We have reached a milestone. Karen's daughter has been accepted to numerous universities and now the fun begins! I think we have to test the restaurants surrounding all the campuses to really help her decide. Isn't that my duty as an aunt? I thought it would be easier for her to narrow her decision down about where to go by looking at what she'll probably be wearing for four years. I found sweatshirts from the schools where she was accepted and made her a little chart.
Washington University in St. Louis (Wash U!)
Vanderbilt (Vandy!)
University of California Santa Barbara (They have a beach)
University of Calfornia Los Angeles (Go Bruins!)
Brandeis (Shalom!)
Emory (There's a Cracker Barrel there)
University of Southern California (Fight On!)
University of California Berkeley (CAL! I was born in Berkeley)
[note: I may have to update this chart soon becaue Emily was waitlisted at a few more schools but I'm afraid if I say what they are I will jinx her.]
We are so proud, I think we will just get one of each shirt! I do like that Brandeis one, it's a nice purple. And the Cal cardigan is versatile. I could wear that pink Emory one when I don't want anyone to recognize me. Ah, fun times ahead!
