Today one of the funniest things of all time happened. We got up very early to make our way to Long Beach for our day of taping a show for the Fine Living Network. We've been working on projects and ideas for this show for over a week and had dropped off supplies for our projects a couple days ago. After 3 hours in traffic, we arrived at the house where the taping was (and I might add we were "camera ready" which means our hair and makeup looked FAB!), and went outside to meet the prop guy. He was sitting next to a beautiful swimming pool with the supplies, assembling some crafts. I did immediately point out that he was a brave soul for sitting so close to water with so many supplies. And then, suddenly, with arms flailing, Karen FELL INTO THE POOL. SHE FELL INTO THE POOL. And as she went in, she tossed her Coach bag to the side so it wouldn't get wet. I can barely type this because the memory of it causes me to burst into uncontrollable laughter. Luckily, it was only her pride that got hurt. What is weird is that we were the only two people laughing. Nobody seemed phased by it. I'll never- ever- ever- ever again scream that is so stupid, it would never happen in reality when watching a tv show where someone falls into a pool. It really does happen!
