Today we are FEELIN' GROOVY about:
~Dark Chocolate Almond Toffee ball things in the red bags near the register at Trader Joe's. Just fill your entire cart with them. The chocolate covered caramels in the purple bags next to them are good, too.
~We finally got good, comfy bistro chairs for our Zen garden. No cats have barfed on them yet. They were on sale at Target for $25. They fold up for easy storage in winter or whenever you do not want your company to stay. We got the red ones.
~The new Brandi Carlile CD, Bear Creek. At first when I listened to it I did not love it as much as her other albums but now that I have had it on repeat for a few days, it's a love connection. My favorite songs on the CD are Raise Hell and I'll Still Be There.
~Karen's daughter graduated and we did not cry at the actual graduation. It was an all-smiles event, even with Karen in her MoFo neckbrace. What an awesome mom. Everyone who follows me on twitter and facebook is sick of me talking about Emily graduating already, I'm sure. A blog post on the deeper reason about why this is such a big deal will be coming soon. WOOHOO! No deadbeat parents this generation!
~True Blood is back on and Eric is hot again.
Our BĂȘtes Noires:
~At graduation my favorite black cardigan got stuck on the seat belt and ripped. I look like a grunge hipster in a torn sweater.
~I finally have more mint than we know what to do with and we can't seem to perfect our mojito recipe. It's just not minty enough.
~Emily went off to Europe and she forgot to take us with her.
~A few days before graduation, Karen's beloved one-eyed cat, Flame, passed away. [note: a new kitten is in the future!]
***Still is an original on paper is new in my shop here***
