We always think about this one Oprah show where she said you should keep your lotions and stuff hidden because nobody wants to see that. She is so wrong! We want to see that. You might have something to make life easier for somebody else. There have been a few things making our lives easier and better lately. We've had to test them out for a few months to be sure they were good. Nobody ever pays us to say anything about anything (unfortunately), this is just stuff we like.
*Ecoland Cotton Sock Liners: I don't get why they are called liners because you don't wear them under socks, you wear them instead of socks, but whatever. We are always trying to find good non-slip little socks to wear with shoes that look better without socks. We have tried them all. So far, these are the best. I mostly wear them with my Toms and they do not slip at all. If you put lotion on your feet before you put the socks on they WILL slip. There is a little silicone bubble on the back that holds them in place the way silicone on bra straps make those stay up. I have had 3 pairs that I have been wearing since November. I wash them in cold water and put them in the dryer and they have held up really well. The silicone DOES lose some of its stickiness after repeated washes so it might be best to hand-wash and air dry but I am too lazy to do that. I have not tried these with athletic shoes and do not think they would be good for that.
*Divide And Conquer Purse Organizer: It's been well documented that we have a little thing for purses. My current favorite purse has only 2 small interior pockets which was annoying the hell out of me. I love the look and size of my purse but everything was getting lost in a jumble inside. A lot of the designer handbags look great from the outside but aren't really practical on the inside. My problems have been solved! I purchased a purse organizer from Divide and Conquer and all is right in my world. It fits perfectly in my purse and everything has its own pocket and is easy to get to.
*SanDisk Sansa Clip MP3 Player: I hate iTunes. I love my iPhone and my iPad. I want to listen to music while I am treadmilling but I don't want to spend hours syncing and resyncing my iDevices. Also, my iPhone is heavy and expensive, I don't want to carry it around and risk dropping it while on the treadmill. The great thing about the Sansa is it's tiny, it weighs pretty much nothing, I can clip it to my shirt, and most important, it doesn't use iTunes! I just drag and drop my songs and playlists onto the Sansa in Windows Explorer. The Sansa also has a built in radio. I love it. It's not fancy and you do have to scroll a bit more than you would be used to with an iPhone/iPod but that doesn't bother me. I just set it to the album or playlist I want to listen to and start walking.
*Arm & Hammer Double Duty Cat Litter: This one is interesting. Karen and I have completely different opinions on this. I think it is the best cat litter and Karen thinks it is the worst! This rarely happens! I have one cat and her litter box is in a small bathroom in our loft near where we watch tv. Before we switched to Arm & Hammer Double Duty, we could barely get through an episode of Modern Family without pausing to change the stinky kitty litter. It was unbearable (we were using Fresh Step). Now, Suki has to remind us to clean her bathroom! Karen has 2 male cats. She recently switched from Fresh Step to Arm & Hammer Double Duty and she thinks it magnifies the smell of whatever present her boys leave for her. She has to clean the litter box 3 times a day. So, depending on your cat, this either is or isn't the best cat litter ever.
Has anything made your life easier or better lately?

OK - I am soooo checking out the sock liners cuz I can't find anything to wear with my tennis shoes while I train for my 5k. It is a pain in the ass to stop and pull up socks every 1/2 mile!
I am totally, totally loving "It's a 10"hair product. It helps the frizzies and tangles without being heavy and greasy.. Sayin.
