Yesterday was a total go eat worms day. Nothing I was working on was going right and as luck would have it the sun was shining and I took that as a sign to just give up and go sit in the sun. That is what it means on a warm day in winter, right? I know it could also mean an earthquake is coming. A warm sunny day in February is why we pay the high price of living where we do, and I was happy to be outside enjoying it instead of inside throwing scissors at the wall. Last week on a less sunny day, I planted some green onions that I got at the Farmers Market and they are popping up in their new home! Soon they will be popping up in my salad with all the other things I am trying to grow. This year I got bright red bins for my container herb and veggie gardening. It's so cheery and yet so Christmassy. I love a colorful garden.

Yes, a warm day in Winter totally means give up whatever it is that you are doing and go sit outside! :) Your veggie garden looks delightful and colorful!
