It's funny how projects find you when you are least looking for one. I guess that is the rule with everything in life, though. My next few weeks will be very busy with donating the house and doing some organizing and fundraising. I have spoken with the mom of the little girl with cancer quite a bit which makes me feel even more eager to get the family in a house that is repaired by Christmas. This is not what I had really planned to be doing this month but I am reminded of my own childhood and I think we would've been really happy if someone had stepped in and helped my mom out.
Some other things going on in life right now:
*Karen's daughter is applying to colleges right NOW! Oh my Buddha! Will it be east coast or west coast? The anticipation is heavy in the air right now.
*My neighbors consulted a dog trainer! Perhaps one of my methods really worked. Or maybe it was the chat my husband had with the neighbors. Either way, it's a start. My Stop Barking! journal is now available in many formats.
*I'm rekindling my love affair with ebay. I have moved some original art from my etsy shop to ebay. All items start with a 99 cent bid and have no reserve.
*Olallieberry Jam is my new favorite. I didn't really ever have a favorite jam before but I do now. We discovered it in Cambria and had no idea Olallieberry pie from this little place we ate at was featured on the Food Network. I guess you find good new foods when you least expect to, too!
Thanks to all who are helping spread the word about this. We appreciate it!
