I had such a good day today that I almost forgot how bad my hair looks.
My camera and I had the honor and privilege of visiting the famous
Hansen's Cakes of Beverly Hills (yes, I went to Beverly Hills with
Fang
Hair) where I was treated like royalty and ate cake like it was my last
day on this planet. A planet full of sweet, soft, delicious cake with
just the right amount of frosting. Carrot cake, marble with chocolate
chip frosting, lemon coconut, chocolate mocha, sponge and strawberry,
red velvet ~ each one better than the bite before it. Wait, was I dead
and in heaven? I think so. There's frosting all over my camera so it
must be true that I was
really there!
I have posted a
few photos of the deliciousness in my flickr. I am sure
some of these sweeties will be making future appearances in some art
and one of the sweeties from the cake team will be making an appearance
in this little
book* of ours.
If you need a cake or cupcakes for a special event or just because you
have raging PMS and bad haircut and need some comforting, get in touch with the fine folks at
Hansen's. You will not be sorry. You can even walk in off the street and get a nice big cupcake for less than $2. I love them.
*Coming soon, very soon! Yay!
I totally would have ate the one that was chocolate with what appeared to be white chocolate chips on it! God how lovely!

Was the frosting super sweet like sprinkle's cupcakes? Or did they have cream cheese frosting? They look delicious but the frosting definitely makes the cake.

Beautiful images of cakes... does it get any better than that? Oh, yeah. Eating those luscious little loves. And the hair is as hideous as you said it was, Linda, but also the source of some really great blog posts. Mixed blessing for the mixed media maven.

Oh gosh those look great. I would have eaten any one of them. And to live so close to Hansen's and just be able to walk in off the street. Ahhh, just like heaven I'm sure. Can't wait to see this book and all those photos.
Please post when you get your hair fixed, I hope they do it right this time.
