stalking
Welcome to everyone who clicked here from Rosie's blog!
Today We're FEELIN' GROOVY about:
~Having a moment to read the paper while eating breakfast with my new mug (a gift from the book signing last weekend) this morning.
~Spotting an ad for our signing with Borders at the Festival Of Books this weekend in the paper I was reading. COOL! We'll be signing for ONE HOUR ONLY because we have to stalk Julie Andrews, so get there early. Yes, our priorities are in order. We're going to hang out with her at the buffet for best-selling authors. I'm sure she cannot wait.
~This video of Eddie singing my new favorite song, Throw Your Arms Around Me.
~My garden is not dead yet. I keep walking outside and being amazed that I have such a cute garden all in bloom. I always wanted one.
Our Bêtes Noires:
~Last week before I left town, my house was a disaster but I had no time to clean even an inch of it. It was really dirty. There was dog hair everywhere and we don't even have a dog. I decided it was ok because it's not like my husband would have friends over while I was gone. He had friends over while I was gone.
~Normal Reese's peanut butter cups are not as good as the egg version. They should make the eggs all year.
~When people say kissing on, hugging on, hating on anything. What's with the on?
~Something that should've been here 12 days ago still isn't here. Maybe I should buy a pair of white pants or get on an airplane.

is it bad that i sometimes say, 'i'm gonna get my drink on'?? i don't say it that often..well maybe once a day--if that.
hope that thing arrives soon!

I would carry your candy bag for you in order to help you stalk Julie Andrews. Do you think you can maybe get a flip with her chatting with you and Karen?

yah...i have a love affair with the Reese's caramel easter eggs....and when I see them at the after Easter clearances I buy obscene quantities and put them in my freezer...that way the carmelly-wonderfullness lasts ALL YEAR LONG!

So, how BAD are you craving those eggs? hmmm ;) Don't stress, it just makes the visitor stay away longer.

Were you expecting a visitor or did you think maybe there was a possibility that your visitor may be absent for awhile?

Are you eating PICKLES with your Reese's? ;P

they SHOULD make the eggs all year. they are way better. :)

The egg thing is SO true. However, I am pretty sure the christmas trees are as good as the eggs. At least, they are slightly better than the regular peanut butter cups.

Ditto on the egg thing.
I also wish they'd make Cadbury Creme Eggs all year round. I bought 8 packs and they're almost gone. EEHHH!!!

OOOh - I'd stock Julie Andrews too - she's SO cool!! I just read some excerpts from her new memior in some magazine, it's verey good.
Piece of trivia regarding your new favorite song - it was originally written in 1992 by Mark Seymor, brother of Nick Seymor, who is in Crowded House with Niel Finn who is the father of Liam Finn who opened for Eddie. :) I love the song too, I heave about 6 versions on my ipod (incuding two of Eddie's). ;)
Have fun with Julie Andrews!
When are you coming to Seattle for a book signing...you know, Eddie lives here....

If you carry Reeses eggs with you, I'm pretty sure JA will be impressed and want to be your stalkee.
So, is it here yet? We're all waiting anxiously with you!

LOL....I just realized what all the comments are about! I'm always late for the fun stuff! Hee hee. Can't wait for Sunday! :D

Just to be safe I took a little test and I am happy to say the problem is just a little case of lateness and not a baby! whew.

That's perhaps the funniest, most super-sleuth talking in code way I've ever heard for what it was you were trying to tell us!
