Over at TallyScrapper I am challenging the scrappers (and artists!) to Get in the Picture!
GET IN THE PICTURE! Your journal is about you, so get in the picture and get on the page! Instead of focusing on supplies and embellishments, make your life the primary focus of your journaling. Be silly, be serious, be whatever you want to be. It's your life, SHOW IT! You will be so happy you did. Use photos of yourself in your journal pages. If you don't have any photos of yourself, take some! That is part of the fun! Grab your camera, find a mirror and get going. Or, just turn that camera around on yourself and aim and shoot. You can capture just bits of yourself, or set the camera timer and get all of you in the picture. Do some creative cropping of the printed photos and start your pages.
One lucky challenge participant will win a copy of Journal Revolution, courtesy of TallyScrapper. It is free to join TallyScrapper and hang out in their forums. Everyone there seems very nice and I am sure if it was the real world, they'd offer you cookies when you walk in! Even if you don't want to participate in the challenge challenge, we challenge you to do the challenge anyway. It's really not that challenging. It's really fun! If you feel self-conscious about taking pictures of yourself, do it when nobody is home. Or start by taking pictures of the parts of yourself you really like (your hands, your feet, your hair). The great thing about photos is you can tear off the parts you like or don't like. Make Fauxto strips or Fauxlaroids (from Journal Revolution) or just stick the photo to some paper and add your journaling. Just get the camera out and start snapping. DO IT! Take some photos and upload them to the Art Army Flickr Group so we can tell you how beautiful you are!
Have fun. Express yourself!

I love your pages! Hopefully I'll find the time today to make something for this! Don't work to hard, and eat plenty of chocolate!

I love your pages! I love the watercolor paint look to them and the way they look arty instead of scrapbooky. I have to try those drips. I just got Journal Revolution and am in love with it.
Did you use the concentrated watercolors with these pages or acrylic paint?

Thanks!
I used concentrated watercolors + water.
