a WINNER and some pancakes

We have a  WHAT'S FOR LUNCH?* contest winner but before we get to that, let's discuss lunch. Lots of people are eating pancakes and we need more information~ are the pancakes leftover from breakfast a few hours earlier or do you stop what you are doing and make pancakes? Pancakes with peanut butter sounds like something we need to try.  Today,  for lunch I had a bowl of Lucky Charms, a handful of Black Bean chips from Trader Joe's, and a few spoons of chocolate frosting mixed with Cool Whip.  Karen had grapes, Triscuits (low sodium) and Tillamook cheddar cheese, with a dessert of Cadbury Mini Eggs. As you can see, we sisters have a very healthy diet.

Ok, the winner of a copy of Visual Chronicles is ......MELANIE KOMISARSKI.
Stay tuned, the next big contest prize will be your very own Ultimate Chocolate Obsession Cake delivered right to your door.

* What's for lunch? Is one of our favorite journaling prompts.

OK, Time to break out the special treatment for family! I should definitly be the winner of an ultimate chocolate cake! :)

oh now add the chocolate frosting mixed with cool whip on top of the peanut butter on the pancake...sounds like a reese cup pancake....yum!

Too bad I didn't win. Oh well, Amazon tells me that my book is finally on its way home.

In my case the pancakes were left over from breakfast. Do try them with peanut butter. It's great, especially with a layer of apple butter too.
